Velarc ("we", "us", "our") provides AI compliance infrastructure for regulated industries. Our registered contact email is hello@velarc.io.
What data we collect
Contact form submissions: When you submit the early access request form on velarc.io, we collect your name, company name, and work email address, and any information you choose to include in the optional message field.
Usage data: When you visit velarc.io or app.velarc.io, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We process usage data on the basis of legitimate interests in maintaining the security and performance of our services.
Demo application: The demo at app.velarc.io uses pre-populated sample data. No personal data is required to access the demo. Standard server logs apply as described above. We do not set any cookies on any of our sites.
How we use your data
We use contact form submissions solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up about early access to Velarc. We do not add you to marketing lists without your consent. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Legal basis
We process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, responding to enquiries from people who have chosen to contact us. You may withdraw at any time by emailing hello@velarc.io.
Data storage and security
Contact form submissions are processed by Formspree (formspree.io), a third-party form handling service. Please refer to Formspree's privacy policy for details of how they handle submitted data.
Our application infrastructure is hosted on Hetzner Online GmbH, with servers located in Germany (EU). Hetzner is ISO 27001:2022 certified.
Our website is served via Cloudflare, Inc., which provides DNS, content delivery, and email routing services. Please refer to Cloudflare's privacy policy for details of how they handle data in transit.
Retention
We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to manage the enquiry, and no longer than 24 months. You may request deletion at any time by contacting hello@velarc.io.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Object to processing
- Request restriction of processing
- Data portability

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We will update this policy once the company is formally registered.
